🎭 The unparalleled genius A.P. Chekhov is back on the Cyprus stage with the "Ostrov" theater.

His comedic plays depict the petty-bourgeois life of landowners. In "The Proposal," a neighbor comes to propose marriage, but the conversation turns into heated arguments over who owns the meadow and which of the two families has the better hunting dog.

"The Bear" sees a retired lieutenant visiting a landowner's widow to demand repayment of her late husband's debt. A quarrel erupts between them, during which he even challenges her to a duel! How will this deadly-dangerous adventure end?
